From 1 June sailing with the family on the IJsselmeer

We all had to sit inside for months and had nowhere to go. Because everything was closed, a pleasant day out with the family was limited to a picnic with an appropriate distance in the park. Fortunately, this will change on 1 June.

Some of the Dutch sailing ships have made the necessary adjustments so that it is again allowed to go sailing for a day with your whole family.

Get a breath of fresh air on the IJsselmeer during a day trip

Thanks to the drawing up and implementation of various Corona protocols, you and your family are allowed to get a breath of fresh air on the IJsselmeer. A pleasant day’s sailing where the safety and health of everyone is paramount.

Lotus Sailing makes sailing ship the Lotus available together with a few other ships, which can sail families up to about 8 persons. For example, about the Markermeer. The sailing boats depart daily from Enkhuizen and unfortunately no other port cities are allowed to be visited yet. But that does not mean that it is not wonderful enjoyment on board. After all, how nice is it that you can go out together again for a while?

Early booking discount for a day trip on the IJsselmeer

All ships have been ashore since the beginning of this year. Reservations had to be cancelled and until a few days ago it was unclear when sailing was allowed again. That’s why skippers do everything they can to organise sailing trips as soon as possible. In order to get the ships fully booked every day again, there is now a temporary early booking discount for the period June and July.

You can decide whether you come alone or with your family up to 8 people. The entire ship is completely for you and the skipper, including crew take care of your safety
